Today was so unexpected. We had to lay our beloved

Today was so unexpected. We had to lay our beloved Storm down to rest. We woke up right before 5am to our cat crying out in pain. I immediately rushed him to the ER. They performed an X-ray and found his lungs covered in cancer. He had been fighting just to breath. I made the difficult choice to say goodbye and put him to rest. We adopted him 5 years ago right after hurricane Matthew flooded our house. He brought so much joy and happiness to our home. He was a quirky cat who love to smell everything. He had a particular fondness for the smell of carrots. Thank you Storm “Big Kitty” Ropero. We will miss you.
